With a background in Fine Art and graduating in 2006 with a degree in Special Effects Makeup from the London College of Fashion, I have a broad range of expertise within fashion, music, theatre and film & TV.
I started out in make-up, wigs & hair within film, tv and theatre, such as at The Royal Opera House. I now work mainly in fashion for editorials such as i-D and Vogue Italia; my clients include Frank Ocean and Amber Valletta.
Having always nurtured a love of 3D objects, sculpting and the need to create, I developed the beauty / jewellery brand H&H Body Adornment in 2012 alongside designer Hannah Warner.
The brand worked with Thierry Mugler for their 2012 show, and artists including Madonna and Beyonce and in editorial such as Vogue and Harpers. Stockists included Colette, Net-a-Porter and Selfridges.
Similarly my brand Shimmer Twins Treasure Lashes was stocked in ASOS and Urban Outfitters. I developed this eye lash brand in 2011 which I used for the cover of i-D magazine.
I work on a consultancy basis for brands offering advice and design suggestions. I draw inspiration from travel and music, and enjoy working on special projects that incorporate a love of the arts.
I was approached by The Tate Britain in London to collaborate with them on a project in 2016 incorporating my skin paint and beauty designs. I have also exhibited an installation in Los Angeles creating a full body prosthetic.
Above all, I wish to always realise my creative intentions by remaining innovative.
